I’m a multi-service employee at the Kirkonkulma school in Aura. That means that in addition to cleaning, I also handle other tasks. For example, I put the schoolchildren’s food out for serving and clear away the dishes afterwards. I also raise the flag on flag days. Sometimes I supervise the children a little, if I’m cleaning the hallway when break starts.

It’s important that work varies. I like that my work days are different and I get to do different things. I’ve known that’s what I prefer since I worked on different wards as a facility cleaner at TYKS.

I’ve been at Kaarea for just under a year now, and I have to say that I’ve really enjoyed it.
